Hermantown's Rawket Science club spent their time last week learning about Human Anatomy, specifically about muscles, tendons, and joints. At the end, students even created their own hand craft that replicated how our fingers are able to bend and move!

Learn the science of winter weather from meteorologists at the National Weather Service! This class will cover winter weather safety and how meteorologists forecast winter weather, from a "Colorado Low" to the science of lake effect snow. Measurement of snow is of critical importance to the National Weather Service, and this class will also include tips on how to properly measure snow, and ice, and even how to do a "snow core" to measure the water content of the snowpack. Challenge yourself and your friends to complete a puzzle the fastest. The puzzle will be provided, and will not be released until the day of to keep the contest fair! Teams of four will start the afternoon puzzling in this race. Afterward, we will be having teams of two compete against each other.
