This course features a 45-minute, one-on-one instrument lesson for band students on the following instruments: flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpet, trombone, euphonium/baritone, tuba, or percussion. Any level of playing ability is welcome-from beginning students who are just starting out or want a head start before school, to more advanced students who are developing their sounds. Our Walking Classroom students at Bay View were not going to let an ice storm stop them from learning about animal classification. After discovering the major animal kingdom groups, our group participated in a card game & other activities. Our next session will focus on insects & students will be inventing their own to take home! ph.ce.eleyo.com


It may not feel like Spring yet, but our students were excited to learn about nature and create crafts inspired by Earth Day. When the weather finally warms up, our students will be participating in an Earth Day clean-up of our school playground and surrounding areas! ph.ce.eleyo.com

Pike Lake Kids‘ Zone had fun creating snails out of paper plates and dot markers. They also created caterpillar leaves and bee plates. May is filled with fun outside activities in the woods and on the playground, we are hoping for the sun ☀️ to come out and warmer temperatures to enjoy the outside time even more!


The ladies' Only Cocktail Hour at Boomtown Woodfire Bar & Grill was a success! This was an opportunity to meet and mingle with gals from the community. Participants played trivia, ate appetizers, and learned more about the art of cocktail making! Gardening enthusiasts in this class learned how to start seeds indoors, and how to avoid the most common mistakes when trying to grow your own seedlings at home. Bay View Kids‘ Zone had fun creating bird feeders out of paper rolls, nut butter, and bird seeds. They also created salt dough and slime! May is filled with fun activities like making puff paint and paper bag piñatas. We also looking forward to some warmer temperatures so we can enjoy our outdoor time with some sun ☀️.
